๐Oxygen as a Predictor of Extinction Risk over the Phanerozoic
For my Master's thesis at Oxford (2024โ2025), I conducted research with the Saupe Lab.
I studied extinction selectivity of marine invertebrates over geological time. We modelled paleoclimates using cGENIE and extinctions using the PBDB database. I tested extinction selectivity using GLMMs in R. My final report is linked above.ย
โกGeothermal Potential of Jazan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
During my 2024 summer internship at KAUST, I conducted research with the Computational Earthquake Seismology Group.
I built geologically accurate sedimentary reservoir models in CMG and simulated 50 years of geothermal production, optimizing well placement and flow configurations. I also developed MATLAB code for techno-economic analysis, including calculation of performance metrics such as the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE).ย

For my Bachelor's thesis at Oxford (2023-2024), I conducted a 6 week geological mapping project in Scotland. My poster is linked above.ย

During my 2023 summer internship at the Mitsubishi Research Institute, I researched autonomous shipping with a focus on technology implementation strategy, as part of the Meguri2040 project.
๐Data Analysis Pipeline for Wave Gliders
During my 2022 summer internship at the OIST, I conducted research with the Marine Biophysics Unit.ย
I optimized data analysis of autonomous Wave Glider technology and its observations of Pacific tropical cyclones. I developed Python software to clean, process, and visualize raw observation data.
